LEFENT Has a Dream... Building a Better Gaming World
Victor Hugo in 1852 wrote words that have inspired generations... "necessity, the mother of invention." Since those words were written men and women have searched for better ways to fulfill dreams. We suppose in many ways necessity has formulated thoughts in the minds of many. Those thoughts were turned into dreams and many of those dreams created 'dreamers'. Some of those 'dreamers' changed the world.

In 1996, two young men (Larry Page and Sergey Brin) attempted to develop a better Internet search engine by checking backlinks to determine a site's importance. The system was originally called 'BackRub'. In 1997, 'BackRub's' name was changed to Google and 'search' on the Internet has forever changed.

In 2003, Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe searched for a better way to interact with friends. What followed from their attempts was a social networking website that captured a nation. Myspace.com is now a household word.

In 2005, three employees of PayPal searched for a better way to exchange video with friends and developed a website using Adobe Flash technology to display those videos. Chat Hurley, Steven Chen, and Jawed Karim developed and introduced the world to YouTube.com. It became one of the fastest growing websites in the world.

In 2004, a young man and his father (Andrew and Russ Nickels) searched for a better way to inform those who enjoyed internet gambling. Their dream of building a website dedicated to informing and helping bring players and internet casinos together was finally accomplished with Lefent.com. In 2005, we lost Andrew but his dream of building a better gaming world inspired others to carry on. Andrew's legacy continues with Lefent.com. We hope Lefent helps millions better enjoy online gaming. That is what Andrew envisioned years ago. We hope his 'dreams' can help change the world of gaming. Thank you.
